  • Supervise and Monitoring Fire & Safety related activities coordinating with admin / unit head.
  • Support in assessing risk factors within factory complex and TNA to minimize those factors
  • Check all critical areas to prevent Fire incidents and update Fire rounds register as and when required.
  • Supervise Fireman training conducted by Fire & Safety Officer/ In Charge to improve the practical & theoretical Knowledge so they can utilize full efforts in required moments.
  • Frequent regular round in the vulnerable places daily at the beginning of the day & make surprise checks of unattended places, if any discrepancies found, inform the concern department for corrective measure.
  • Conduct fire training from Fire Service & Civil Defense, BGMEA in Coordination with Head of Fire & Safety to increase the percentage of training of all Factories to align with the standard
  • Ensure monthly In house fire training of Firefighter, rescuer, new employees, and Security personnel
  • Conduct monthly Fire & Evacuation drill of buildings Complex consulting with Manager Admin or concerned personnel
  • If any fire incident or earthquake occurred, deploy the fire safety management team under supervision of Fire Safety Officer/ In Charge & keep liaison with local Fire Brigade, concern authority & update the higher management
  • Keep all documents & reference ready for Buyer & Auditors in Coordination with Compliance department
  • Perform any other task assigned by the management as & when required

  • Establish a full functional and effective fire safety management system of the entire factory premises.
  • To upkeep and maintenance of all fire safety equipments/installations.
  • Prepare all safety standards, reports & documentation regarding fire safety issue including fire evacuation plan and procedure.
  • Ensure maintenance of all relevant documents for Audit purpose and update them accordingly.
  • Maintain & ensure safety in all production area and make sure a free & unblock evacuation for all employees.
  • Train up firefighting team members on fire fighting, rescue and first-aid on demonstration basis to make them understand.
  • Must have basic knowledge on installation and maintenance of PA System, Fire Alarm, & Detection System, Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler System
  • Regular inspection of fire equipment\'s as per required by the local/international Standard
  • Ensure that all fireman and fire fighters are in right order & Place and perform their duties properly.
  • Conduct regular fire and emergency evacuation drill to aware employees any emergency incident according to local law and buyer requirement.
