Field Facilitator (Suchana Project)

At least Bachelor degree (may be relaxed to HSC level for those who have at least 1 year experience in community based nutrition and development activities).

  • The position is based at Union level with extensive field visits to the respective villages/communities.
  • Field Facilitator (FF) will be based at union level and will be in-charge for implementation of all Suchana intervention in his/her assigned areas, usually for about 500 BHHs in a cluster of 3-5 villages. The FF will work closely with assigned two Suchana Community Mobilizers in implementing the activities in the assigned areas. In addition to his/her assigned tasks (his/her 60% efforts), the FF will also work jointly with two respective Suchana Community Mobilisers for certain team activities (his/her 40% efforts). S/he will also be responsible for performance and achievements of those SCMs too. One of the key roles of the FF will be to build capacities of the SCMs under his/her team keeping in mind that eventually the SCM is expected to evolve as an independent community level resource in post-Suchana phases.

  • Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs and resources required for donor & NGOF hygiene promotion activities, plan an appropriate integrated response.
  • Plan, design and manage the implementation of hygiene promotion measures to address priority public health risks according to the agreed plan, and complimentary to physical sanitation measures, to meet the needs in excreta disposal, wastewater.
  • Mobilize communities, where appropriate, to participate fully in this program.
  • Supervising the repairing works, dislodging, cleaning works by volunteers and reporting the progress of work.
  • Monitoring the WASH Facilities status, reporting and making the plan of actions.
  • Organizing, monitoring and reporting of Hygiene Promotion Session by H.P Volunteers
